Last Sunday’s sermon was about ‘Work’. Through the passage describing how Adam worked in the Garden of Eden even before sinning, we learned that work is not a curse but a blessing. One common misconception about work is viewing it as a curse. However, it was the earth that was cursed because of Adam’s sin, not work itself. Furthermore, hearing that the right attitude is to ‘choose to work’ when given the opportunity to work, I became grateful for my current job and began to see the time given to me as my calling. I am happy and find great fulfillment in being able to help many people through the Creative Economy Innovation Center, and I take this opportunity to once again give thanks to God.

The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.
