During the Creative Economy Expo, while I was in charge of the international event G-Startup Worldwide Seoul, we faced an unprecedented situation where the entire COEX complex suddenly lost power. Fortunately, the event concluded almost miraculously. Following a fire incident, believed to have originated in a casino, the entire ASEM Tower and COEX Mall lost power. While most people evacuated, fortunately, no evacuation order was issued for the COEX exhibition halls. The event resumed after a brief break. Upon hearing that the power would be cut again at 4:30 PM for system reset, we made a quick decision to wrap up the judging and conclude the awards ceremony. It was a time when I truly experienced firsthand what it means to race against the clock.

Just one second before awarding the championship team, the power went out. Many people held up their phone flashlights to create lighting and celebrate the winners. Surprisingly, the judges took it in stride, enjoyed the power outage, and did their utmost to complete the judging, ensuring the event concluded smoothly. We are truly grateful.
