We went camping in Yeongwol, Gangwon Province, in our Galloper equipped with a rooftop tent. It was not far from the Donggang River, famous for rafting. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were fewer visitors than usual, allowing us to enjoy a very peaceful and leisurely camping trip. This time was especially fun and enjoyable because it was our first camping trip just with the kids and their siblings.

The kids seemed to come camping just for the fun of roasting marshmallows over the campfire. Insisting they absolutely had to eat them, they all eagerly skewered marshmallows on wooden chopsticks and lightly toasted them over the flames. Seeing the children’s happy faces as they enjoyed the chewy, sweet treat made me happy too. The campground was densely planted with pine trees, offering excellent scenery, and the cool shade made activities very comfortable.
