Seeing Bitcoin recently surge past $60,000 and climb relentlessly toward its all-time high stirs mixed emotions. On one hand, I feel relieved that I built up experience through past coin investments and trading. Yet, I’m left with regret that I don’t have enough seed money to jump on board when the big opportunity actually arrives. I have painful memories of losing profits due to indecisive trading without clear principles. However, now that Bitcoin has been recognized as a legitimate digital asset with ETF approval, I am quietly honing my skills to ride the next wave.
Reading 『The Teachings of SayNo』 lately has completely transformed my perspective on financial investment. I realized that what matters more than immediate profit-taking is increasing my market value or creating a strong cash flow through side businesses. Having already established a stable foundation through my side dish business and parcel collection service, I now intend to focus on scaling these ventures. Additionally, the book I labored over throughout last year is finally nearing publication, promising another new income stream.
But the most astonishing development occurred after my missionary trip to Cambodia. I prayed for increased business income to support more generous mission giving. Then, I was introduced to the head of a Silicon Valley AI association and offered the position of Korean advisor. Seeing the projected monthly income reach a staggering ten times the amount I had pledged for Cambodia ministry, I experienced firsthand the ‘secret of tithing’ I’d only heard about.
Rather than making a vague promise like “I’ll give when I earn money,” I first sent school supplies and goods for the Cambodian children’s ministry at my own expense. God then filled that need far more abundantly. Just as establishing sound principles and constant study are essential for successful investing, setting the principle of “using funds first for good purposes” in financial management and practicing it by faith led to experiencing the opening of heaven’s doors.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (Malachi 3:10)
