크리스천, 아르메니안, 유대인, 무슬림 네 개의 쿼터로 나뉘어진 예루살렘의 올드 시티는 서로 자신의 종교의 성지로 삼고 한 쪽에서는 성당의 종소리가 울리고 다른 한쪽에서는 무슬림의 아잔이 들리는 곳입니다. 그런 종교의 대립과 혼란 속에서 몇 십명도 안되는 팔레스타인계 이스라엘 크리스천들이 예배를 드리는 교회에서 예배를 드린 적이 있었습니다. 설교는 한국인 선교사님이 영어로 하면 다시 팔레스타인 목사님이 아랍어로 통역을 하고 있었습니다. 이 분들은 예수님이 살아계셨을 때부터 이 지역에 사셨던 조상들의 후손이셨는데 원조 크리스천이라고 할 수 있는 분들이었습니다. 그 때 느꼈던 것은 크리스천들은 정말 소수라는 것과 하나님은 그들을 끝까지 지키시고 계신다는 것이었습니다. 또한 유대인들은 역사적으로 나라를 잃고 민족이 박해를 받으면서도 하나님의 말씀을 지켜왔다는 것도 놀랍고 반대로 하나님의 말씀을 지켜왔던 민족은 사라지지 않고 인류 역사에 남아있다는 것도 기적이라고 생각합니다. 또한 복음은 사도 바울로 인해 중동에서 유럽으로 그리고 청교도인들로 인해 미국으로 건너가 기독교 가치관으로 미국이 세워지고 다시 그 선교사들의 희생으로 아시아에도 유일한 기독교 국가인 대한민국을 이승만이라는 대통령이 세웠다는 것은 기독교 역사의 놀라운 사실입니다. 그리고 1948년 8월 15일을 건국일로 보지 않고 1919년 4월 11일로 바꿔서 상해임시정부 수립일로 봐야한다는 좌파 역사관을 가진 이들은 그런 기독교 국가라는 정체성을 지우려고 한다는 것을 영화 ‘건국전쟁‘을 통해서 알게 되었습니다. 그들은 친일 프레임과 민족을 앞세워 자칭 테러리스트였던 김구를 자주독립과 통일을 위해 독립운동을 한 지도자로 둔갑시키고 청년 이승만보다는 노인 이승만을 부각시켜 부정선거의 장본인으로 역사를 왜곡시키고 있었습니다. 이는 기독교 가치관과 반기독교적인 인본주의 가치관, 자유민주주의 사상과 공산주의 사상을 가진 이들의 대립으로 볼 수 있을 것입니다.
The Old City of Jerusalem is divided into four quarters, Christian, Armenian, Jewish, and Muslim, each claiming the holy sites of their religion, and the bells of the cathedrals ringing on one side and the Muslim call to prayer on the other. In the midst of this religious conflict and chaos, I once worshipped in a church where fewer than a dozen Palestinian-Israeli Christians worshipped. The sermon was preached in English by a Korean missionary and translated into Arabic by a Palestinian pastor. These people were descendants of ancestors who had lived in the area since Jesus was alive, and they were the original Christians. What I realized then was that Christians are a very small minority and that God is protecting them to the end. I also think it is amazing that the Jews have kept the word of God even though they have lost their country and been persecuted throughout history, and conversely, I think it is a miracle that any people who have kept the word of God have not disappeared and have remained in human history. It is also a remarkable fact of Christian history that the gospel was brought from the Middle East to Europe by the Apostle Paul and to America by the Puritans, and that America was founded with Christian values, and then, through the sacrifices of those missionaries, the Republic of Korea, the only Christian country in Asia, was founded by a president named Syngman Rhee. And I learned from the movie “The Birth of Korea” that those who have a leftist view of history, who do not consider August 15, 1948 as the founding date, but rather April 11, 1919, as the date of the establishment of the Provisional Government of Shanghai, are trying to erase that identity of a Christian country. They were distorting history by using pro-Japanese frames and ethnicity to portray Kim Gu, a self-proclaimed terrorist, as a leader who led the independence movement for independence and reunification, and emphasizing the elderly Syngman Rhee rather than the younger Syngman Rhee, who was responsible for the fraudulent election. This can be seen as a confrontation between Christian values and anti-Christian humanistic values, liberal democratic ideas and communist ideas.
그 대립의 역사 가운데 박정희 대통령의 경제 정책과 그 정책을 이어받은 전두환과 노태우 대통령의 경제 성장기에는 교회들이 폭발적으로 부흥했던 시기였습니다. 그러나 김영삼 대통령의 실패한 세계화로 IMF 위기를 맞았고 그 후 김대중과 노무현 대통령으로 인한 대한민국의 좌경화의 시작과 인도적인 대북 지원으로 인해 북한은 체제 유지가 되었습니다. 이후 이명박과 박근혜 대통령으로 우파가 집권했지만 좌파 세력의 미국 쇠고기 광우병 선동과 최순실 게이트 사건으로 결국 대통령은 탄핵당하고 문재인 대통령이 집권하여 급진적으로 반미친중 정책을 하며 코로나 때에는 기독교 교회를 셧다운했습니다. 그래도 다행인 것은 차별금지법에 반대한 기독교인들이 광화문에 백만명과 온라인으로 백만명 정도를 합쳐 약 2백만명이 지난 10.27 연합예배 때 모였는데 전체 5100만 인구에 비하면 그 규모는 얼마 안되지만 바닷물을 짜게 하는 소금의 농도가 3.5%라는 사실을 알게 되면서 이 사회를 썩지 않게 하는 기독교인들의 역할이 얼마나 중요한지 알게 되었습니다. 한편 작년 12.3 비상 계엄 이후 대통령을 내란죄로 고소, 고발한 민주당이 탄핵소추안에서 내란죄를 슬그머니 뺐다는 소식에 이혼 사유로 아내가 바람을 피었다고 주장하던 남편이 재판부에 바람을 피웠다는 주장은 빼고 빨리 이혼을 판결해 달라는 것과 다름없다는 웃지 못할 짤이 돌아다니고, 애시당초 비상계엄 전부터 국가기관장들을 줄탄핵하고 대한민국을 사실상 무정부 상태로 만든 장본인들이 내란 세력이라는 것은 누구나 알 수 있는 일이었습니다. 그러나 아직도 정치인들의 거짓말과 국가 기관안에 숨어있는 좌편향된 사람들의 거짓 증언, 일부 재야 언론인들의 제보자를 밝힐 수 없는 루머들을 그대로 받아 적는 언론들과 그런 뉴스를 보며 선동당하는 시민들을 볼 때 안타까움을 금할 수 없습니다.

The right-wing came to power under Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye, but the left-wing’s incitement of mad cow disease in US beef and the Choi Soon-sil scandal eventually led to the impeachment of the presidents and the rise of President Moon Jae-in, who has been radically anti-American and anti-Chinese, even shutting down Christian churches during the coronavirus. The good news is that Christians who opposed the anti-discrimination law gathered about 2 million people, including 1 million at Gwanghwamun and 1 million online, for the October 27 Unity Service, which is a small number compared to the total population of 51 million, but when I learned that the concentration of salt that makes sea water salty is 3.5%, I realized how important the role of Christians is to keep this society from rotting. Meanwhile, the news that the Democratic Party, which sued and accused the president of rebellion after the December 3 emergency martial law last year, sneakily dropped rebellion from the impeachment indictment, led to a laughable joke that it was like a husband asking a court to quickly rule on a divorce without mentioning that his wife had cheated on him, and that it was the rebels who were responsible for impeaching the heads of state institutions and turning the country into a virtual anarchy before the emergency martial law in the first place. But I still feel sad when I see the lies of politicians, the false testimonies of left-leaning people hiding in state institutions, the media repeating rumors from some journalists who cannot identify their sources, and the citizens who are incited by such news.
그러나 반전은 비상계엄 당시 국회에서 소동을 피우면서 선관위 사무실과 연수원을 급습했다는 보도, 과거 트럼프가 2020년 재선에 실패한 후 부정선거를 주장하면서 내세웠던 구호, STOP THE STEAL이 한남동에서도 등장했다는 소식이 Fox, CNN, Washington Post 등의 외신을 통해 알려지고 있다는 것입니다. 그리고 전세계 2억명의 팔로워가 있는 일론 머스크도 갑자기 대한민국의 상황에 대해 트윗을 날리기 시작하고 그가 최근 윤석열 대통령을 팔로우하기 시작했다는 것도 우연은 아니라고 생각합니다. 그러면서 일부 극우 유튜버의 음모론으로 알려졌던 부정선거 이슈에 대해서 시민들은 한두명씩 깨어나기 시작했고 점차 대한민국을 감싸고 있던 거대 악의 증거들이 나타나기 시작했습니다. 그리고 그 거대한 악은 지난 수십년간 대한민국의 보수와 진보 가릴 것 없이 많은 정치인들을 포섭하여 가짜 국회의원으로 당선시키고 학계와 문화계 그리고 언론을 후원하여 그 영향력을 키워왔다는 것을 이번 계엄사태를 통해서 깨어있는 크리스찬들은 알게 되었습니다. 그리고 트럼프 대통령을 이해하기 위해서는 그의 말이 아닌 그의 거래 (Deal)를 봐야한다는 것을 ‘거래의 기술’ 자서전을 통해서 알게 된 것처럼 윤석열 대통령은 특수부 검사 출신으로 과거 원세훈 국정원장이 댓글 부대를 운영해 여론 조작을 했던 사건을 조사한 것으로 좌천된 이력과 부정선거를 오랫동안 조사했던 국내 최고의 전문가라는 사실을 깨달으면서 퍼즐이 맞춰지는 것 같았습니다. 그리고 중국 공산당의 여러 나라에 대한 선거 개입 사건을 보면서 초한전(Unrestricted Warfare)은 미국 뿐만 아니라 대한민국에서도 대리전의 형태로 진행되고 있다는 것을 깨닫고 정치인들을 바라보니 당적과 상관없이 거대한 악의 실체가 보이기 시작했습니다. 그러자 왜 일부 정치인들은 계엄 사태를 독재의 부활이라고 억지를 부리며 탄핵을 하려는 건지 그리고 일부 정치인들은 대통령의 호위 무사를 자처하면서도 제왕적 대통령제를 폐지하고 내각제로 개헌해야 한다고 주장하는지 그 이유를 알 수 있었습니다.
However, the twist is that reports have emerged that during the state of emergency, there was a commotion in the National Assembly, and the Election Commission office and training center were raided. Additionally, the slogan “STOP THE STEAL,” which Trump had used after his 2020 re-election defeat while alleging election fraud, has reportedly appeared in Hannam-dong. These developments have been reported by foreign media outlets such as Fox, CNN, and the Washington Post. I also don’t think it’s a coincidence that Elon Musk, who has 200 million followers worldwide, suddenly started tweeting about the situation in South Korea, and that he recently started following President Yoon Seok-yul. Then, one by one, citizens started to wake up to the issue of fraudulent elections, which was known as a conspiracy theory by some far-right YouTubers, and gradually, evidence of the great evil that was enveloping South Korea started to appear. And through this martial law, awakened Christians have learned that this great evil has been growing in influence over the past few decades in South Korea by co-opting many politicians, both conservative and liberal, by electing them as fake parliamentarians, and by sponsoring academia, culture, and the media. And just as we learned from The Art of the Deal that to understand President Trump, we must look at his deals, not his words, the puzzle seemed to fall into place when we realized that Yun was a former special prosecutor who was demoted for investigating the case of former National Intelligence Service chief Won Se-hoon’s use of a commenting unit to manipulate public opinion, and that he was the country’s foremost expert on fraudulent elections. And as I looked at the CCP’s election meddling in various countries, I realized that unrestricted warfare was being waged not only in the United States but also in South Korea in the form of proxy wars, and as I looked at the politicians, I began to see a huge evil, regardless of party affiliation, and I began to understand why some politicians were calling martial law a resurgence of dictatorship and wanted to impeach him, and why some politicians were calling for the abolition of the imperial presidential system and a cabinet system, even though they were the bodyguards of the president.
게다가 주요 언론은 대통령의 탄핵을 찬성하는 쪽과 반대하는 쪽이 비슷하다는 영상을 보여주었지만 사실상 대통령 탄핵을 반대하는 애국 시민들이 훨씬 많다는 것도 알게 되었습니다. 심지어는 탄핵 반대 시위대 앞에서 탄핵을 찬성한다고 거짓 보도를 한 주요 뉴스의 기자가 시민들에 의해 고발당하는 것을 보면서 대한민국의 언론이 얼마나 좌편향되어 있는지 확인할 수 있었습니다. 또한 사회정의를 외치며 약자의 편에 서 있는 척 하면서 가장 정치적인 행동을 하는 종교 기득권이나 교인들을 이용하여 정당을 만들어 국회에 들어가려는 사이비 교주 장사꾼 모두 혼란을 틈타 자신의 이익만을 챙기고 있습니다. 그러나 탄핵을 찬성하는 조직화된 민주노총과 신원을 알 수 없는 이익단체들 그리고 페미니스트와 성소수자들과 달리 탄핵을 반대하는 소수의 크리스천들은 자발적으로 대통령을 지키기 위한 집회에 참가하고 있었습니다. 그리고 2030 세대들도 대통령을 지키겠다고 시위에 참여하고 심지어는 미국에서부터 비행기를 타고 온다는 교민들을 보면서 이들이 영적인 가나안 땅으로 들어가는 최초의 세대가 될 수도 있겠다는 생각이 들었습니다. 이번주 특별 새벽기도 기간의 설교 말씀을 통해 한나의 기도 (삼상 1:10)를 묵상하면서 여호와 앞에 한 평범한 여인의 서원기도가 하나님의 역사를 이루는 기도가 될 수 있다는 것을 보면서 윤석열 대통령에 대한 불법 체포를 반대하는 권사님들이 영하 10도의 추위에 한남동 길바닥에 앉아 애통해 하면서 기도하는 모습이 겹쳤습니다. 수십 년간 조직적으로 은폐되어 온 부정선거가 과연 트럼프가 취임하는 1월 20일 이후로 밝혀지고 전세계적으로 선거 개입을 해 온 거대 악에 대한 반격을 어떻게 할 지 궁금해졌습니다. 그래서 오늘도 새벽에 일어나 하나님의 공의가 곧 대한민국에서 이루어지도록 하는 크리스천의 역사적인 기도에 동참하며 하루를 힘차게 시작했습니다.
I also learned that while the mainstream media showed a video that the number of people in favor of impeaching the president was similar to the number of people against impeaching the president, there were actually many more patriotic citizens who were against impeaching the president. I even saw a reporter from a major news outlet being accused by citizens for falsely reporting that he was in favor of impeachment in front of anti-impeachment protesters, which showed how left-leaning the media in South Korea is. We also saw how religious vested interests are capitalizing on the chaos, whether it’s the religious establishment playing the most political game by pretending to be on the side of the underdog in the name of social justice, or cultists using their members to form political parties and get into the National Assembly. However, unlike the organized labor unions and unidentified interest groups in favor of impeachment, and unlike feminists and LGBT people, the few Christians who opposed impeachment were voluntarily participating in rallies to defend the president. And as I watched the 2030s join the rallies and even fly in from the United States to defend the president, it occurred to me that they might be the first generation to enter a spiritual Canaan. As I meditated on Hannah’s prayer (1 Sam. 10:1) in my sermon for this week’s special dawn prayer period, seeing how an ordinary woman’s vowed prayer before the Lord can become a prayer that accomplishes God’s work, I was struck by the image of the lawyers protesting the illegal arrest of President Yoon Seok-yeol, sitting on the sidewalk in the Namdong district of Seoul in minus 10 degrees Celsius, mourning and praying. I wondered how to strike back against the massive evil that has been systematically covered up for decades and has been meddling in elections around the world since Trump’s inauguration on January 20, so I got up at dawn today to join in the historic Christian prayer that God’s justice would soon be done in South Korea.
