Throughout my reading of Professor Noam Chomsky’s works, the phrase ‘black intellectual’ mentioned by Kim Mi-young, CEO of VON News, never left my mind. Through this interview-style book, I closely examined his worldview, ideology, and the social alternatives he proposes. His fundamental worldview was rooted in humanism, centered on the conflict and tension between two opposing forces. His criticism primarily targeted humans destroying nature and the giant capitalist forces suppressing human rights.
Ultimately, he exemplified the typical leftist thinker: using climate crisis rhetoric to restrict human activity, attacking capitalists and political forces under the banner of workers’ rights, and viewing the world as a binary divide. Ironically, while benefiting from the system of the world’s freest and most prosperous nation, the United States, he displayed a contradictory stance by strongly criticizing President Trump’s policies while simultaneously seeking to dismantle that very system.
However, once one understands the illusion of the climate crisis and the hypocritical reality of anti-capitalist ideology, it becomes clear how hollow these leftist intellectuals’ arguments truly are. This becomes even more apparent upon learning the truth: behind the Biden administration, a puppet system like the ‘Autopen’ manipulated policies, squandered massive taxes, and served the interests of globalists. This signifies the existence of real ‘enemies within’ who divide American society from within and profit from the resulting chaos. Intellectuals like Chomsky played a crucial role in providing them with ideological foundations and moral justification. While he used difficult words and erudite logic to complicate simple issues, his explanations ultimately amounted to nothing more than armchair theorizing that fabricated non-existent threats. Rather, realizing he was inflating extreme cases to manufacture social threats and conflict made me laugh bitterly.
He cleverly transformed ‘climate change’ into a ‘climate crisis’ and distorted ‘negotiations’ between labor and management into ‘struggles’. He also disparaged President Trump’s authority to restore America to a normal nation as illegitimate power. If people truly understood how California, with its strong leftist leanings, has become devastated, and the doubts surrounding Vice President Harris’s competence and her path to power during the last presidential election, no one would blindly accept Chomsky’s theories. Even behind the Russia-Ukraine war he criticizes lies the reality of a corrupt regime suspected of diverting U.S. aid funds into globalist coffers. The numerous suspicions revealed through the recently exposed Epstein documents force us to reexamine the hidden truths behind the international news we thought we knew.
Through this reading, I have once again keenly felt how the ‘black poison’ of words and writings emitted by leftist intellectuals has sickened our society. Today, I begin the day vigorously, discerning the truth with an awakened perspective.
