As the one-year anniversary of President Yoon Suk-yeol’s declaration of martial law passed, I reflected on what changes had occurred within me. First, I came to believe more firmly in God’s existence and the words of the Bible. I no longer viewed the secrets of Genesis and the mysteries of creation merely as biblical narratives, but came to believe them as scientific facts. I sought out various pieces of evidence and principles that could support these facts. I made an effort to fill my storehouse of knowledge by investigating and organizing things myself, rather than just accepting plausible logic or the words of authorities. Especially in Earth science and history, I examined each point one by one using scientific facts and intuition, rather than blindly trusting existing theories.
Then, the sky, the sun, and the moon began to look different. I gradually came to understand the secrets of how the Creator designed the principles of ocean waves and how the stars in the night sky were made to twinkle. One thing became certain: it wasn’t something that changed gradually over long periods by chance, but rather everything was perfectly made at the time of creation. I no longer understood the seven days of creation as a metaphorical time, but as the 24-hour days God established. I was no longer deceived by the falsehood that the universe is infinitely expanding or that inanimate matter slowly evolved into living things over immeasurable time. I also realized that the science fiction idea of rockets launching at 28,000 km/h into space, then releasing satellites to orbit Earth, is fundamentally impossible. This is because beyond the firmament covering Earth’s surface, there is no such thing as outer space. It is impossible to propel objects at such speeds, and even if they could fly, humans could not withstand those speeds.
Next, my perspective on politics shifted from viewing it as simply left or right, right or wrong. I began to understand the values behind political ideologies, and since those values connect to one’s faith, I realized that believing in God’s creation and redemptive history makes holding communist ideology impossible. In truth, while most Christians claim not to support communism, upon conversation, they were often ignorant or indifferent. These people were my own family and friends, and behind them lurked an evil spirit that steals, kills, and destroys like a thief. This reminded me of Jesus’ words that only prayer can overcome such forces. When I realized that fake pastors and missionaries spread the lie that religion and politics must be separated, that Pharisee-like people condemn President Yoon Suk-yeol as a heretic without knowing his policies, and that the Catholic Jesuits and their followers, who secretly worship Satan while promoting religious integration, are hiding within South Korean society, politicians began to look different to me.
Finally, as my perspective on the world shifted and I began to understand various situations, a forgiving heart emerged. At first, when I realized that the root of the election fraud wasn’t simply corruption within the judiciary—judges from the Uri Law Research Group (liberal judges’ group), the Election Commission chairman who came from such judges, the criminal organization that is the National Election Commission(NEC) , and some politicians—but rather a national crisis facing the entire Republic of Korea, I felt frustrated and angry. Honestly, when President Yoon Suk-yeol declared martial law, I thought he would execute former President Moon Jae-in for treason after learning that Moon had secretly handed over what was presumed to be nuclear power plant blueprints—a Level 3 state secret—to Kim Jong-un via USB. And when I heard reports that martial law troops had raided the NEC servers and arrested the hackers at the training center, I believed they had secured crucial evidence of election fraud and would deal a fatal blow to the enemies. I truly believed that the leftist fake pastors of large churches, the spies within the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, and the anti-state forces within the Democratic Party would finally all be purged.
However, witnessing the series of events over the past year—the illegal detention of the president, Hong Jang-won’s false testimony to frame the president as a rebel, and the recent passage of the Rebellion Tribunal Act immediately after People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyuk’s 24-hour filibuster—revealed that the blatant lies of the 175 fake lawmakers, elected through fraudulent elections solely to destroy President Yoon Suk-yeol, seemed endless. Then, as the dollar-won exchange rate skyrocketed due to the fake president’s dictatorial politics and international isolation, the government resorted to using the National Pension Fund to defend the exchange rate or pressured large corporations to convert dollars into won, effectively blackmailing them. This was the very image of gangsters. Furthermore, the arrest of Pastor Sohn Hyun-bo of Segero Presbyterian Church, who preached the truth, became the most shameful record in the history of human rights in South Korea.
But I began to wonder what information President Yoon Suk-yeol actually received from U.S. intelligence agencies a year ago. And looking back now, the series of measures following the sudden declaration of martial law were meticulously planned and impossible without the assistance of U.S. intelligence agencies. Recently, Trump has been escalating his rhetoric in public forums, claiming his 2020 re-election defeat was due to election fraud. This seems to connect with recent speculation that the reason for ousting Venezuela’s Maduro regime was not drug trafficking, but the eradication of an election fraud cartel. Perhaps President Yoon Suk-yeol’s declaration of martial law allowed South Korea to escape responsibility as a nation exporting fraudulent electronic voting machines globally through A-WEB, transforming it from a nation resembling an axis of evil into a victim state of the electoral fraud cartel. Considering this evidence, it became clear why President Yoon Suk-yeol chose the narrow path of cooperating with the United States to wipe out the Chinese Communist Party and the globalists behind it, rather than taking the easy route of eliminating a single former president who was a fixed spy. He knew full well that this process would provoke a massive counterattack from enemies and that he could lose his life after impeachment. Yet, he sacrificed himself for the sake of the younger generation.
During the Christmas concert, the pastor conveyed that the spirit of Christmas is forgiveness. Jesus, who died on the cross in place of humanity’s sins, prayed to God even until His final moments, asking for forgiveness for people’s sins because they acted out of ignorance. As I meditated on how Jesus could pray for forgiveness because He knew everything, I began to understand President Yoon Suk-yeol’s heart a little. I was grateful to hear that President Yoon was reading the Bible in his solitary cell. And I sensed intuitively that the ‘glory that will be revealed to us’ mentioned in his recent Christmas message was drawing near. So today, I rose at dawn to write this blog and prayed that everyone would embrace the heart of Jesus this Christmas.
Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed in us.
