Although the new year has only just begun, a sudden political upheaval has occurred with the arrest of Venezuela’s president, and disheartening news is emerging from across the Middle East—including Iran—where the hardline stance of ruling regimes and anti-government movements are intensifying. As predictions that additional U.S. security measures or airstrikes are imminent flow in real time through foreign media, a palpable sense of tension hangs over the Middle East. Behind these sudden tectonic shifts in the international landscape and the looming threat of war lies a profound process of paradigm realignment in the global order, centered on the Trump administration in the United States. On the surface, this may appear to be temporary turmoil caused by sudden shifts in tariff barriers or immigration policies, but it can essentially be interpreted as a “journey toward normalization”—a process of structurally correcting the abnormal financial structures, diplomatic distortions, health controls, and invisible human rights abuses that have dominated the international community over the past several years.
Whenever the wheel of history turns, periods of massive paradigm shifts have always been followed by complaints and confusion from those who fail to grasp the essence of the change. This is akin to the stubbornness of the Israelites, who, after their dramatic escape from slavery in Egypt, began to long for their former lives as slaves—where they were controlled but well-fed—and poured out their grievances as their trials and training in the wilderness dragged on. However, as I confessed in my book *The Awakened Delivery Driver*, once my worldview was realigned around God the Creator, the currents of history—which I had previously seen only as fragmented pieces—finally began to reveal themselves to me as an organic chain of cause and effect. For example, the strict national lockdowns, astronomical quantitative easing policies, and protracted international conflicts that swept the globe during the COVID-19 pandemic are by no means isolated coincidences. At their core, I see the roots of a massive systemic distortion and evil that sought to fundamentally undermine the independence of sovereign nations and the integrity of their electoral systems. Awakened souls around the world are now, one by one, beginning to realize what the true ideological and systemic virus is—the one that has gripped the lives of free citizens worldwide like an octopus’s tentacles and spiritually sapped the identity of societies and communities.
And when I confronted the shocking truth—that certain international election-related organizations headquartered in Korea are among the links in this global network and stand at the center of worldwide systemic vulnerabilities—I initially felt deep frustration and sorrow. I was also overcome by a sense of helplessness, wondering, “Can my single, small voice and my records truly change this massive tide of darkness?” This is because South Korea’s judicial system and mainstream media have already lost their inherent objectivity and neutrality, becoming entrenched in specific partisan currents and growing into massive entities; we are now facing an irrational constitutional reality where they collude with political agendas to use even the nation’s head of state as a target for harsh legal attacks. This is akin to the grim scene that unfolded before Moses—who had spent 40 days on the summit of Mount Sinai in the presence of God and descended with the bloodstained stone tablets of the Ten Commandments—as he faced a nation that had fallen into grotesque religious depravity by crafting a golden calf idol.
However, every Christian is well aware of the spiritual outcome and the judgment of justice that followed that agonizing history of darkness. Just as the tribe of Levi, at that time, did not succumb to the compromises before their eyes or the frenzy of the masses, but instead restored the community’s shattered justice through absolute obedience to God’s command, I, too, will not yield to the sweet compromises or the matrix of lies that the world throws at me. Standing solely on the side of eternal justice, I earnestly pray that God’s righteousness may be fully realized in this land of South Korea and over its collapsed constitutional order. With the sacred resolve to rebuild the fallen walls as a guardian of truth, I begin this day with vigor.
