Sound of Silence

When watching a YouTube video with the sound muted, you cannot hear the audio, but you can still perceive the sounds visually. Similarly, even in the silence of people, you can sense the voices of their hearts. Especially regarding the results of the presidential election, the people remain silent, but the outcome of this election was already predetermined. As former Ambassador Steve Bannon stated in the U.S. international election monitoring team’s “war room,” it has been confirmed that the “Korean Election Commission is a criminal fraud group.” Fortunately, I primarily rely on English-language news articles and X for information, as South Korea’s major media outlets are filled with misinformation and disinformation. However, the majority of South Koreans, who only read the headlines of Korean-language articles, have been deceived by the media’s subtle manipulation. For example, during last year’s U.Y. presidential election, when it was widely believed that the Democratic Party’s Harris would win, YTN’s Chinese-Korean journalist misled the public by reporting false information until the very last moment, such as claiming that Harris’s victory was imminent, and even went so far as to misrepresent a rally opposing President Yoon’s impeachment as a rally in support of it. This deception by such media fraudsters left the public feeling deceived and vulnerable, much like a flock of thirsty seagulls gathered around a pipe leaking sewage, desperately trying to drink the contaminated water.

Meanwhile, the newly elected president postponed the trial related to himself to a “later date,” increased the number of Supreme Court justices to gain control of the judiciary, and appointed his former lawyer as a Supreme Court justice. Politically, he weaponized the business sector and the police to launch an investigation into Kim Moon-soo, who received 42% of the vote, for violating election laws, and launched a police investigation into Hwang Kyo-ahn, who claimed election fraud during the presidential election. In fact, everyone knows that the president-elect’s statement that his golf photo with Kim Moon-ki was fabricated is false, and during the election period, he spread false information internationally, claiming that world-renowned investor Jim Rogers supported him. Additionally, the Democratic Party has publicly claimed that the People Power Party should be dissolved, silencing opposing political voices, censoring KakaoTalk to block citizens’ discussions related to election fraud, and raiding the Election Fraud Prevention Task Force. Furthermore, the National Election Commission, which acts above the law, has dismissed reports of election fraud from residents in Seongbok-dong, Yongin City, as fabricated, and is silencing countless cries of election fraud across the country.

Economically, the new government is not only planning to astronomically increase government spending by benchmarking Venezuela’s “people’s sovereignty government,” but also to issue stablecoins led by the state in the private sector, thereby further increasing national debt. This is effectively a plan to drive the country into default through inflation. Additionally, as suspected in the “vaccine betrayal” scandal, the former head of the Disease Control Agency, who orchestrated a nationwide vaccine scam under the pretext of a fake pandemic, has been appointed as the Minister of Health and Welfare. It appears that the government will once again use the pandemic as an excuse to enforce mask mandates and silence the public. Religiously, Christian groups that have opposed the enactment of a comprehensive anti-discrimination law over the past few years will likely remain silent in the face of the upcoming passage of the anti-discrimination law, even after the Constitutional Court’s unconstitutional ruling a few years ago, despite the fact that millions gathered in Gwanghwamun as a sacred barrier. Despite the hacking of SK Telecom resulting in the leakage of personal information for over 20 million people, seeing South Korea open its borders to China with a temporary visa waiver and the Democratic Party conducting election campaigns in Chinese made me resolve to pray with even greater vigilance.

However, the newly elected president is already subject to punishment for the crime of illegally transferring $8 million to North Korea alone, and following a hastily conducted presidential inauguration, the lack of response from the U.S. White House has already excluded him from the global diplomatic stage. Even after his election, the delay in his phone call with U.S. President Trump became controversial. The presidential office spokesperson briefed that a 20-minute call with President Trump took place at 10 PM on June 6th. However, few citizens would believe reports that there was no mention of this on Trump’s X account or in any official message from the White House spokesperson, that President Trump proposed playing golf, and that they exchanged views on assassination risks and political difficulties. Furthermore, after Trump declared he would no longer be a “nice guy” to China for violating the tariff agreement, it became clear this had the effect of freezing the assets of their children studying at major universities, including Harvard, and their assets within the United States. Amid rapidly shifting international circumstances—including the sudden death of China’s Vice President, reports of Iranian military leaders killed in Israeli airstrikes, and the LA riots in the U.S. where motives are suspected—evidence of the June 3 election fraud allegations continued to spread among the public through the efforts of Representative Hwang Kyo-ahn’s Election Justice Army.

As I was watching the live broadcast of the 250th anniversary celebration of the U.S. military, I felt that God is the master of history who establishes and removes national leaders. And seeing that God ultimately establishes leaders who publicly profess their faith in Him, I realized that all sovereignty belongs to God. Some leaders attain high positions and use their authority and power to correct wrong laws and bring the nation back into God’s order, while others continue to be respected by the people and carry on their spirit and will even after stepping down from their positions. In the case of President Trump, he waged a tariff war against the entire world and gained the upper hand in the invisible war against the globalist forces. And while South Korea’s President Yoon Suk-yeol was impeached as expected, it was astonishing to see the spirit of “Yoon Again”—mentioned in the letter written by Minister Kim Yong-hyun from prison—live on through the revelations about electoral fraud and the cries for freedom, carried forward by Representative Hwang Kyo-ahn and the youth of Liberty University.

Although the South Korean government appears to be extremely left-wing, shaking up all freedom and order and imposing control, many patriotic citizens have been gradually raising their voices in silence at weekend rallies, while workers for freedom and democracy have been doing so at their workplaces and businesses, and true Christians have been doing so in vibrant churches. I wanted to see it with my own eyes and hands, so I went to the Gwanghwamun rally and coincidentally met Colonel John Mills of the U.S. International Election Monitoring Team. I also wore a Taegukgi badge and promoted same-day voting on a delivery truck through my Bu-bang-dae activities. I was grateful to serve a vibrant church where the national anthem was sung during the Sunday worship service. Therefore, I woke up early this morning like the tribe of Issachar in Israel, to understand the international situation, oppose the evil laws created by the corrupt values aiming to destroy my family, and focus on what I can do—archery and writing—to start the day with vigor.
