As time passed, I found myself wondering how 2026 would ultimately be remembered. Right from the start of the year, Venezuelan President Maduro was captured in the middle of the night and soon stood trial in a New York court, and after the removal of Khamenei—who had presided over 47 years of dictatorship and the suppression of women’s rights—peace seemed to have returned to the Strait of Hormuz. Although Trump’s tariff policies caused a brief global economic turmoil, the situation soon normalized, and companies that had invested in the U.S. market saw their market value rise significantly. For example, among the companies that quickly assessed the changing international landscape and formulated strategies to respond, Hyundai Motor Company pledged massive investments in the U.S. and acquired the American robotics firm Boston Dynamics to advance factory automation in the AI era, resulting in a substantial increase in its market capitalization.
Through the book *Freedom’s Enemy, Freedom* that I recently read, I was able to gain a deeper understanding of what “political correctness” (PC) actually is. I also realized how much division this PC ideology has caused within the United States, and I came to believe that it is, in fact, an attack designed to undermine America—a nation founded on Christian values—from within. To summarize PC ideology in a single sentence, it is a communist-style ideology that seeks to dominate people’s minds by defining “justice” on its own terms and distorting words and language. I believe the phenomenon in South Korea where the political term “relative deprivation” is used to divide society and incite hatred is also a form of PC ideology.
Watching the process by which same-sex marriage was legalized by the U.S. Supreme Court, I realized that this was not a sudden ruling but the result of a long-standing PC offensive. I have also witnessed unconstitutional rulings being handed down by the Supreme Court of South Korea. They distorted historical texts and, through figures like Professor Judith Butler, constructed ideologies of hatred, systematically dismantling traditional conservative values one by one under the guise of “progress.”
This was not the natural evolution of humanity occurring on Earth—a speck of dust in the infinite cosmos, as atheists imagine—but simply sin that has persisted since the beginning of time. From the sin of disobedience committed by Adam and Eve, to Cain’s sin of murder, and even the sin of crucifying Jesus, the Son of God—all of these were acts of rebellion against God and a manifestation of an evil nature that sought to break down the safe fence God had erected and commit sin. Ultimately, it was an unconstitutional attempt to destroy families and communities and to enshrine the history of communist revolutions, such as the May 18th Uprising, into the Constitution.
Now, ahead of the June 3 local elections, many people are waking up, and the truth about May 18 is being reexamined through former history lecturer Jeon Jeon-gil, but the election results were already predetermined. This is because it is obvious that the National Election Commission, colluding with international criminal organizations, will once again manipulate the election results using VPNs and backdoor software. Although figures like Representative Hwang Kyo-ahn and Kim Jeong-hyun, head of the Baeksus Research Institute, are fighting against election fraud, the election system that has been rigged for the past 20 years did not seem likely to change easily. Nevertheless, President Yoon Suk-yeol remained strong, receiving protection in prison while his presence grew steadily, and the political slogan “Yoon Again” proved that martial law had been justified. And as the plans and secret operations he had prepared with the U.S. side—as if he had foreseen this day—began to emerge one by one, I realized that the Second Incheon Landing Operation had succeeded.
It was a great war for our freedom, and it was not just a war for South Korea but also a war for the United States. For Trump, who failed to win re-election due to the fraudulent 2020 election, this was a dramatic turnaround and a “Great Reset.” Therefore, I believed it was important for me to fight that spiritual war from my own position and proclaim the truth. King Solomon’s final testament—“Fear God and keep His commandments (Ecclesiastes 12:13)”—was the truth, and it served as a roadmap for Christians living in this age. The tide has already turned, and South Korea has won.
