The revelations regarding Dr. Fauci that Tulsi Gabbard, a female politician from the U.S. Democratic Party and Director of National Intelligence (DNI), disclosed on her final day before announcing her voluntary resignation were truly shocking. This has prompted a renewed examination of the various suspicions raised in Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s book *Vaccine Betrayal* regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, which has controlled humanity worldwide for years and claimed countless lives. Despite persistent suspicions that the coronavirus originated from a laboratory leak, the claim that certain factions within the intelligence community colluded to cover up the truth raises many important questions.
Consequently, we cannot dismiss the reasonable suspicion that massive global capital and power structures, while handling dangerous technology, caused a global crisis and implemented policies that restricted the possibilities for early treatment or alternative approaches. Looking back now, it is clear that strict policies—such as mask mandates and social distancing, whose effectiveness is now being questioned—excessively controlled society and infringed upon individual freedoms.
At the time, people who questioned government policies or opposed pandemic guidelines based on common sense were often treated as social outcasts or vilified as threats to public safety. For example, as mentioned in the book *Church Shutdown*, illogical and biased pandemic guidelines—such as the claim that “gathering in churches for worship spreads the virus, but riding the subway is fine”—raise suspicions that there may have been an underlying intent to undermine the values of the church. It is concerning that, despite a surge in people reporting various side effects and health issues following vaccination—which many believed to be safe during the COVID-19 pandemic—the reality is that instead of thoroughly investigating the causal relationship, the blame is being shifted onto individuals. Amid growing distrust regarding whether high-ranking politicians who spearheaded the pandemic response have actually been vaccinated, I have been striving to inform my neighbors about the hidden side of these public health policies and to share alternative health information and the truth.
Similarly, the allegations of election fraud raised during the June 3 local elections may be just the tip of the iceberg, revealing a system that has long been trampling on South Koreans’ right to vote. This is no different from the harsh times in the past when our freedom was taken away. Whereas in the past our territory and sovereignty were taken away, the flaws in the electoral system and allegations of fraud could strip citizens of their sacred right to vote, resulting in a society that is merely a facade of liberal democracy but is, in reality, a controlled society. The warnings left by the late Representative Jeong Doo-eon—who was tragically found dead in a wooded area—regarding the dark underbelly of the political world now carry even greater weight.
There have been reports of statistical coincidences in early voting tallies in some regions that defy common sense, as well as allegations of absurd errors related to the printing of ballots in certain areas. Yet, it is deeply regrettable to see that the response has so far remained complacent, limited to mere systemic improvements or half-hearted measures. This resembles the wicked servants in the biblical parable of the vineyard, who ignored their master’s warning and ultimately faced judgment for attempting to monopolize his property. The people—the true masters of the nation—delegated their authority through elections, yet those who instead act as masters and seek to deceive the people have become precisely those wicked servants.
This structural distrust of the electoral system is intertwined with systemic changes—such as the introduction of electronic vote-counting machines—that have been proposed since a specific political era in the past. Ever since electronic vote-counting machines were fully introduced in 2002, there have been constant political calculations behind the scenes of power, culminating in the massive political idolization surrounding a former president who ended his life through a tragic choice. Just as institutional changes occurred in the past while countless citizens were gathered in public squares, cheering for the World Cup, we must remain vigilant against the possibility that attempts to undermine our precious freedoms and rights—while keeping the public in the dark—are continuing even now.
However, God will never turn His back on the Republic of Korea—a nation built upon the blood of the patriotic martyrs who sacrificed their lives to defend freedom, as well as the youth of the 2030 generation and certain vigilant churches. Just as God delays the hour of judgment to save even one more soul, it seems He is extending the window of opportunity through those who remain vigilant to protect the freedom of this land. I am deeply grateful to see the people awakening one by one as they witness the dedication of young people staying up all night to guard the ballot boxes, and I, too, offered this Sunday’s worship service with a heart full of gratitude. With faith in action!
